For a period of 6 year until 2000 Hans-Joachim Bobsin worked in Taiwan and PR China for the Swiss company SGS (Securité General de Surveillance), ultimately in the position of Operations Manager for consumer product inspections. Since his return to Germany in 2000 he has been working as a consultant.
On the 12th of June 2004 he was appointed Investment Ambassador for the city of Qingdao, Shandong Province.
Maria Kondring has as a result of her studies of Sinology and her work residence in PR China and Taiwan, working for diverse industries, acquired a unique knowledge of the country and is able to draw on various important contacts. 2002 she finished her MBA (Master of Business Administration) at the Berlin School of Economics. In 2003 together with Hans-Joachim Bobsin, she founded the company Bobsin & Kondring.
